Booking Terms & Conditions

These Booking Terms & Conditions form the agreement between Compass Executive Cars Berkshire Ltd ("we", "us") and the client placing a booking ("you"). By confirming a booking, you accept these terms in full.

Quotations are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated and are based on the journey information provided. A booking is confirmed only once we issue written confirmation by email. Any changes to itinerary, passenger numbers or vehicle class may result in revised pricing.

Prices are quoted in GBP and exclude VAT unless stated. Pricing is based on the route, vehicle class, time of day and estimated duration. Additional charges may apply for waiting time beyond the included allowance, extra stops, tolls, parking or significant route changes.

Account clients are invoiced in arrears with payment terms set out in their corporate agreement. Private bookings are payable in advance by card or bank transfer.

Airport pickups include 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time from flight landing. All other pickups include 15 minutes. Waiting time beyond these allowances is charged at the prevailing hourly rate, in 15-minute increments.

• More than 24 hours before pickup: no charge.
• Between 24 and 4 hours before pickup: 50% of the agreed fare.
• Less than 4 hours before pickup or no-show: 100% of the agreed fare.
• Longer notice periods may apply for multi-day, event or chauffeur-by-the-hour bookings, as confirmed in writing.

Our chauffeurs reserve the right to refuse or terminate a journey where a passenger's behaviour is unsafe, abusive, or where the vehicle's interior is at risk of damage. Any damage caused by passengers will be invoiced at cost.

Luggage allowances depend on the vehicle class selected. Please advise us in advance of oversized items, sports equipment or unusual cargo. The number of passengers must not exceed the legal seating capacity of the vehicle.

We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including traffic, severe weather, road closures, industrial action, vehicle breakdown of third parties, or acts of government. We will make all reasonable efforts to provide a replacement vehicle promptly in the event of a mechanical issue.

Our liability under any booking is limited to the price paid for that journey, except in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability which cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
